"Moment" er en hyldest til de mindeværdige øjeblikke vi alle har at se tilbage på. I stedet for at gemme øjeblikket som et foto, valget vi at vise hvad der fysisk blev tilbage. Med værket vil vi skabe eftertanke på forskellene mellem, hvad det er vi ønsker at gemme og huske og hvad vi er i virkeligheden er i stand til at gemme og huske.

"Moment" is a tribute to the memorable moments we all have to look back on. Instead of saving the moment as a photo, we chose to show what was physically left. With the work, we will create reflection on the differences between what it is we want to save and remember and what we are actually able to save and remember.

Værket er skabt til OXERs anden udstilling ombord på skibet Svartlöga, "Opløsning af Det Private Arkiv. Et forlist fotoalbum går i dialog med samtidskunsten." "Katastrofe og kaos har skabt nogle uforventede billeder. Udstillingen Opløsning af Det Private Arkiv udforsker hvordan pludselige hændelser kan skabe nye narrativer. Gennem et Open Call er 28 kunstnere gået i dialog med fotografier der har været udsat for tre atmosfæres tryk og eksponeret for saltvand. Fotografierne blev fundet i en kahyt ombord på skibet Svartlöga efter hun kæntrede og sank i August 2018. Efter syv dage på havbunden blev hun bjærget og fotoalbummet dukkede op i mængden af ting. I denne anden udstilling af OXER, kunne besøgende opleve samtidskunstens talrige greb og metoder indtage forskib, agterkahyt, motorrum og dæk, ombord på skibet Svartlöga."

The work was created for OXER's second exhibition on board the ship Svartlöga, "Dissolution of the Private Archive. A lost photo album enters into dialogue with contemporary art." "Catastrophe and chaos have created some unexpected images. The exhibition Dissolution of the Private Archive explores how sudden events can create new narratives. Through an Open Call, 28 artists have entered into a dialogue with photographs that have been exposed to three atmospheres of pressure and exposed to salt water. The photographs were found in a cabin aboard the ship Svartlöga after she capsized and sank in August 2018. After seven days on the seabed, the ship was salvaged and the photo album turned up in the mass of things. In this second exhibition of OXER, visitors were invited to experience the numerous grips of contemporary art and methods occupy the forecastle, aft cabin, engine room and deck, aboard the ship Svartlöga."
